Hello everyone,
I am very proud to announce that we have just gotten past our 20k CAD stretch goal. We will officially be proceeding with an offset print run of the book with our good friends at Bang Printing.
The more importantly, I have just unlocked two new tiers for backers.
The PRIME WORLD Tier allows individuals suffering from economic hardship or other forms of marginalization to purchase discounted physical copies of the book, at cost. This tier is $15 CAD + shipping, meaning that backers in the USA can would only have to pay a total of $25 CAD for these copies. We will unlock one copy for every 10 backers on the campaign, meaning that we will begin with 46 copies available.
The ETERNAL PLANES Tier is an upgraded version of RIVERWARD. Anyone who pledges at this $75 CAD level will get their standard print copy and PDF, as well as unlocking another 5 community copies at the PRIME WORLD tier.
A street war is brewing, with the Farmers Association vs the Enforcers.
Our next stretch goal is particularly exciting to me. At $25,000 CAD, we will commission Quinn Murphy to come up with a series of amazing missions for your games. I have long admired Quinn’s excellent game design work and look forward to working with him on this project once we get past his goal.

Hello everyone,
We have just blown past 15K, and reached our first stretch goal. We will have plenty more art to grace the pages of the book, thanks to your collective support. Our next goal involves getting more copies out into the world.
The Goal Clock
Our second stretch goal is very important to me. I am proud to have produced high-quality printed books in the past which were made possible thanks to proper offset print runs. In addition to the quality of the product, it also means that the production costs are lower for each individual book and we get greater volumes. Indie publishers are eager to hit economies of scale for that specific reason.
If we hit an offset print run, I will also be able to create a new community copy tier for the campaign. Marginalized folks and those suffering from economic hardship will be able to purchase physical copies at a greatly reduced price. There will be one of these hardship slots for every 10 backers for the campaign, and we will create another tier where folks can donate additional tiers.

I would like to thank you very much for joining us on this exciting project. I have been overwhelmed by your collective support and enthusiasm so far, and I am very proud to announce that we have just met our initial funding goal!
First Goal Achieved!
Of course, you know there is more to come. We have a total of five stretch goals that I would love to achieve so we can unlock the full potential of this game. The next goal is to secure $15,000 CAD so that I can commission a pile of additional art for the book. This will include over a dozen beautiful character illustrations from Alex Louise Hill, and a few more stunning pieces by Juan Ochoa.
Juan Ochoa
Juan Ochoa is our lead illustrator for this project, and forms the backbone of the book’s visual language. He has done the piece that we use for the kickstarter, a beautiful wrap-around cover, a set of lovely chapter illustrations, and much more.

Alex Louise Hill is an Indonesian artist working in animation. I discovered her portfolio on twitter, and recognized that her art style would be the perfect compliment to that of Juan.

Alex has already produced one sample character illustration in the form of our disgruntled, humanoid squid found on the kickstarter page. If we reach $15,000 CAD, I will be able to commission over a dozen additional pieces of this quality and style as interior illustrations for the book. I would absolutely love to make that happen, but I will need your help to do so!
Please continue to spread the word and make some noise about the project. We have had some spectacular success so far, and I am eager to fill the book with more beautiful art.
